Last night, on the way to the theatre, we stopped by the bridge, so today I could draw it. It fascinates me every time I see it, being so old – it was erected in 1340. God only knows how much it has seen in its days. The rumour is the pub on the other side of the Wensum is the most haunted place in the city, being built on an old execution site.
